FASHION'S finest are gearing up to take part in the London Marathon this Sunday, including VOGUE.COM bloggers David Gandy and Henry Holland, and models Tuuli Shipster and Agyness Deyn. The group, who have named themselves the Oxglam Squad, have committed to the 26-mile-long run to raise money for Oxfam.
"I'm so bored of being boring and not drinking or smoking so I'm super excited about the run now and getting it done!" Henry Holland tells us. "I've always wanted to do it, and then when Tuuli asked me to be part of a team for Oxfam I had to say yes."
The designer has been training with a trainer since October with, as he describes, "varying degrees of dedication". Does he have any tips for other London Marathon participants?
"I just listen to music and think about how happy I'm going to be when I finish," he says. It can get quite addictive too."
David Gandy, however, isn't feeling quite as prepared.
"I just haven't really had too much time to train properly," he tells us. "I've been on and off planes all year and when I did get a chance to train hard, with long runs and inteval training, my knees have not taken the strain well and I've been in a lot of pain so I'm nowhere near as prepared as I should be, but we'll see how my body is on the day. A huge skiing crash didn't really help either! Now is that enough excuses for when I finish in over six hours?!"
The model decided to complete the marathon through a mix of "stupidity" and a desire to help raise money for Oxfam - his "motivational force". Is he feeling nervous in the final build-up?
"I'm pretty apprehensive if I'm to be honest," he admits. "I'm built more for, and have always been, a sprinter - long distance is very difficult for me being 15 stone. But, it's a great cause and so many people have told me what an amazing day it is - so I'm very much looking forward to experiencing everything the day will bring, be it smiles or tears."

Something tells us we'll be watching the London Marathon in FULL this weekend...

IF there was ever a reason to watch the London Marathon in FULL this weekend, then David Gandy getting sweaty would be it.A host of celebrities running in this year's London Marathon got together in London for a photocall today and we emitted a high-pitched scream when we saw D&G model David Gandy among them.
The seriously-sexy man-hunk, who gives us a bad case of dry mouth whenever that ad of him writhing around in a boat comes on, was posing in his full loveliness with fellow catwalker Agyness Deyn.
Even in a fluorescent-green running bib, the perfectly-chiselled heartthrob looks a-maaaazing, pulling a relaxed pose for the cameras as he stood next to Agy.
Judging by her VERY smiley face, she was the gibbering wreck we would have been if he was stood next to us - although we'd have played it a BIT cooler (we're just being mean 'cos we're well jel he had his arm round her).
Anyway, Dave and his rippling muscles and tight bottom will be joining the celeb athletes on Saturday - which also include Elen Rivas, Joe Pasquale, Dwight Yorke, Matthew Pinsent and James Cracknell.
We'll be sure to keep our eye out for him and then continually rewind and replay the moment we catch him for the rest of Saturday afternoon...

Oxglam Squad's fundraising page
Hello!
We're the Oxglam Squad and consist of Tuuli Shipster, Agyness Deyn, David Gandy, Henry Holland, Greg Hollins, Emma Pierson, Sara Pierson, Carly Roberts, Chantal Brown and Amiee Robinson. We're very scared but very excited to be running this year's Virgin London Marathon...and especially for Oxfam! 26 miles is pretty long way, but it's for a very good cause!
We're hoping to raise as much money as possible for Oxfam's programmes in Honduras, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Sri Lanka. These projects will support people who are trying to work their way out of grinding poverty, through farming or running small businesses. In fact, we even plan to travel to Tanzania in the coming weeks to make a little film to show you where your money will be going, so watch this space!
We'll be adding more content over the coming weeks, to keep you guys updated on our efforts. You can find out more about the projects at:
www.oxfam.org.uk/running
In the meantime, please donate generously!
The Oxglam Team x
PS: And if anything goes wrong or we injure ourselves, we're blaming our friend and photographer Rankin, who cajoled us into running and isn't even doing it himself!
